A diversion from my bead excursion...

Although I got plenty of cool presents for Christmas, this was by far the coolest package that any of them came in. Wondering what it originally was?

An ice cream company, of which their mascot is a certain azure colored member of the Leporidae family, has made the jump from waxed cardboard containers to these plastic ones. While I’m not fond of more plastics in my life, the old cardboard tubs are not recyclable here and these are both durable and begging for reuse.

Yet another blog o’ mine. I have written about homemade Scrabble games, nerds, home repairs, good eats, pretty much anything that crosses my radar. So why start another one? Simple: my heritage. My family does not inherit land, great wealth or honorary titles; we inherit projects, half finished and missing parts. My grandmother started a quilt for her first granddaughter. My mother finished said quilt for her first granddaughter. You get the idea.

This blog will be updated sporadically, as time, talents, and worthy projects come along. Tool finds will likely clutter up most of the space allotted (I’m pretty much incurable on that front). Hope you enjoy.
